If you don't meet the CPD requirements, or don't make your annual CPD statement, the GDC says you may be removed from the register. Coming back then means applying to restore your registration, with evidence of your CPD.
- Make your annual statement on time each year: see When is my annual CPD statement due?
- Check your hours against your cycle total and the 10-hours-in-two-years rule: see How many CPD hours do I need?
- If your cycle is ending, check the GDC's guidance on the 56-day grace period, which is requested during the cycle's final six months.
- If you have been removed, see What CPD do I need to restore my registration?
