Make your annual CPD statement in MyGDC every year, even if you did no CPD that year: by 28 January if you are a dentist, or 28 August if you are a dental care professional. At the end of your five-year cycle you also make an end-of-cycle statement.
- Check your hours for the CPD year in your CPD Log, or download that year's CPD report. See How do I download my CPD reports and certificates?
- Sign in to MyGDC (it replaced eGDC on 25 March 2026).
- Make your annual CPD statement, declaring your verifiable CPD hours.
- Keep your evidence: see How long must I keep my CPD records?
If you need more time at the end of a cycle, the GDC offers a 56-day grace period, which you request during the cycle's final six months.
