Your evidence for each verifiable CPD activity must show:
- the subject, learning content, and aims and objectives
- the anticipated development outcomes
- the date or dates
- the total hours
- your name
- that the CPD is quality assured, naming the person or body who quality assured it
- the provider's confirmation that the information is full and accurate.
Since March 2025 the GDC no longer requires your GDC number or a signature on the evidence: an email from the provider can confirm it. Enhanced CPD Pro certificates still include your GDC number when we have it, and the signature of our founder, Rajeev Shah.
Keep each certificate in your CPD Log: see How do I add CPD to my record?
Source: GDC CPD guidance (evidence, section 5.3) and GDC news "GDC announces updates to CPD processes" (4 March 2025), via the GDC: CPD scheme pages, checked 10 October 2026. The regulator's own guidance always takes precedence.
