HealthCheck provides you with an overview of all of your key CPD information.
It's split into 5 sections
- Your Progress Report
- Discover
- Upcoming PDP Tasks
- Recent CPD
- Recent PDP Goals
In this example, my CPD Cycle runs from 2015 - 2020. This means that my PDP runs between 2018 - 2020 because I only started the PDP when the new Enhanced CPD regulations came into force.
The stats tell me:
- I've made no progress so far on my PDP
- I've made 13% progress on my GDC Requirements
- My PDP contains 9 Goals which I have yet to complete
- I've got 11 CPD requirements yet to complete. These CPD Requirements are set by the GDC and include Recommended Topics and the suggested number of hours.
The recommendations here are based upon your PDP Goals. If you click on one, you'll see the full details of the course and you'll be able to start it if you want to.
Don't be afraid to click on them - even if you accidentally start a course that you don't want to you, you can easily cancel it.
You can click on any Upcoming PDP Task to see its detail, complete, modify or delete it. When you click on it, you'll also see some recommended courses which will help you to complete the task.
This section reminds of CPD that you've recently logged. Click on any one to see the record in greater detail.
The completion percentage lets you know whether a CPD Record requires more information before it will be accepted by the GDC. For example, if you logged some CPD quickly but forgot to upload a certificate, the system will let you know that the record is not yet complete.
You can click any PDP Goal here to drill into its details and make any changes.
